Genoa - If you own a boat and want to say hello to the most beautiful ship in the world leaving for a trip around the globe, come to Genoa on July 1st.
All the boats of the sailing clubs are invited to participate in the spectacular departure ceremony to accompany the historic sailing ship of our Navy as it leaves the port of Genoa at around 2.30pm.
Even the boats of the Ocean Race, of the Beneteau Figaro 3 fleet of the Navy Nastro Rosa Tour and the catamaran Lo Spirito di Stella will accompany the Vespucci ship leaving the port of Genoa.
The Frecce Tricolori will pay homage to the "most beautiful ship in the world" with a flyover.
The ship Amerigo Vespucci will leave for a world tour that will last almost two years touching 5 continents, 30 ports and 27 countries.
For participants in the event with their own boats, a free kit has been prepared as a reminder of the historic day, which can be collected before departure (on 29-30 June and 1 July by 10:00) at the stand IREN of the Navy Nastro Rosa Tour, also set up at the Old Port of Genoa.
